Finally took Joe to see his long over due birthday present, Lord of the Rings. What can I say, it's another presentation of the Lord of the Rings. It was however for me the first one of these disney-esque productions, with a rotating stage that had multiple platforms that raised and lowered, lots of people swinging from the ceiling and creatures running through the audience. Not exactly my cup of tea, but Joe had a great time. Give me an actor, a chair and an engaging tale that's enough staging for me.
